Facial oils may have come in hot on the beauty scene but this trend’s not fuckin’ around — actually it happens to be an obsessive part of our everyday routine. After your morning shower, before bed, even a mid-day pick me up. That’s why we’ve scanned the scene, tried a few ourselves (someone has to take on for the team), and picked our best finds for every budget! By now you know the drill: clean ingredients, cruelty free, industry friendly.
- Pai Rosehip Bioregenerate Oil, $40
Upon further research we came to the conclusion that $40 is a pretty standard price for a facial oil. These jars may be small but they are mighty in beneficial ingredients. Pai Rosehip Bioregenerate Oil is an industry favorite (it just made Into The Gloss’s Top 3 List), and is known for brimming with those vitamins that enrich the youth and supple character your skin deserves. One of our Pia hooked readers adds, “It’s hydrating with all the omegas but not too oily and it’s really good for redness and irritation”. Sold.
- Rodin Jasmine & Neroli Face Oil, $170
This jar of joy is a bit of an investment — but holy cow is it worth it. Featuring two of our very favorite ingredients, Jasmine and Neroli, you’ll want this to second as your perfume. Linda Rodin just happens to be the lady we look up to most — being in her late 60’s and still looking bomb, we’ll do anything she tells us to. Made up of an abundance of natural oils from the world over, this is the closest thing shy of a beauty IV straight to the blood stream you can get your hands on.
- Glossier Super Bounce Skin Serum, $28
Although this pick is technically a serum, it does many of the same beneficial things as an oil, and has many of the same characteristics. Hyaluronic acid is a savior for replenishing that ‘bounce’ (hence the name) back into dry, weathered derm. It’s a substance natural to our joints and skin, but as we age we lose it’s elasticity — Glossier wants to give back what is rightly yours.
- 5Yina Enlighten Spring Beauty Oil, $145
Here’s another investment for you that’s just setting you up for a bright future. 5Yinna creates a face oil for every season of the year, based on TCM’s tried and true outlook on beauty and health, but we’ve used Spring year round. We would like to report it’s a dream to massage into your skin, knowing how many natural herbs it contains. It’s the perfect weight to sink into the skin swiftly before you lay your head on the pillow. Find more reasons we love 5Yinna here.
- Willow Mayer Beauty Bahia Vitality Marula Face Oil, $25
The name may be a mouthful, but the dropper will deliver a face-full of good. This product is a great way to lock in moisture to dry skin, and set it up for a full day of glowing. Budget friendly, and proven to be a shopper favorite, it has a lot of the great ingredients that we see in other face oils for a lower price point.
- Herbivore Botanicals Citrine Body Oil, $44
Technically a body oil, we’ve fearlessly been putting this on our faces for years and guess what? It works wonders! The scent of this oil is highly addictive, and conjures memories of summer evenings in LA under the citrus trees. Full of good fatty acids, this moisture is the kind that doesn’t just sit atop the skin, but within it.
