We’ve been talking a lot about minimalism lately — in our wardrobe & in our lifestyle, but what about our beauty regime? When we got wind of Glossier’s skincare lineup, we thought “this might just be it”. Thing is, we want non-fuss, clean ingredients, and the minimum number of containers possible. We aren’t quite at two in one shampoo status yet, but not far off. It was only natural for us to get our hands on the mere three-step skincare regime (four if you count the Coconut Balm Dotcom for a dewy pucker), and see for ourselves. The synopsis: it was effortless, it was sensorily divine, mascara was rid of. Call it, a study in Glossier pink.
Milky Jelly Cleanser | $18
This pump-topped bottle encompasses a divine smelling jelly that feels that it’s doing an A+ job with every circular (upward) motion. Not in the least intrusive, its gentle maneuver seems to be delivering just the results one would want of a cleanser — didn’t rob us of our skins natural moisture, no mascara left unhinged. We call that a success.
Moisturizing Moon Mask | $22
Finally, a mask that feels lush instead of drying, cooling instead of that questionable light sting. Ideal for sensitive skin, the Moon Mask swipes on effortless, though slightly clingy when it’s time to wash clean — we hardly mind the extra attention.
Priming Moisturizer | $25
Finding the perfect moisturizer is a life’s work. Giving Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer a try couldn’t hurt your research. What we loved? No greasy after effects, no heaviness — just melts right in.
Coconut Balm Dotcom | $12
The balm is bomb. The perfect dose of moisture for those lips and cuticles — we would even go so far as to suggest a little squeeze on those cheekbones when ones’ on the go for a little extra dew.
